DASHCAM VIEWER
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how komocode (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Dashcam Viewer application (“App”) and this website (“Website”).
Summary
- The App does not collect personal data. Your dashcam footage and on-device analysis results are not transmitted to komocode.
- The Website has no accounts, forms, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies.
- The Website is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process limited technical data to serve and secure it.
1. The App
Dashcam Viewer opens Tesla dashcam folders and files that you choose. Playback, telemetry decoding, video export, face grouping, and visible-text recognition are performed on your device. The App does not upload your footage, face-related results, recognized text, or telemetry to komocode or third parties.
The App contains no advertising, user accounts, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs. Apple may provide komocode with aggregate, non-identifying App Store, sales, usage, and diagnostic information through Apple’s developer services, depending on your Apple settings.
Files that you place in iCloud Drive, Files, Photos, backups, or other services may be stored or synchronized by those services under their own policies. Exports are saved only to a location you choose.
2. Apple Services
Downloads and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. komocode does not receive personally identifying purchase information.
The App uses Apple MapKit to display locations and routes derived from compatible footage. Map requests may send Apple the map region, coordinates, search details, and technical information needed to provide and secure the service. komocode does not receive or retain that information. Apple handles it under Apple’s privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
3. The Website
The Website is a static site delivered through Cloudflare’s content-delivery and security network. Cloudflare may process limited technical data, including IP addresses and request information, for security, reliability, fraud prevention, and delivery. Cloudflare handles that information under its privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
We do not add analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, marketing cookies, contact forms, or user accounts to the Website. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security mechanisms when required to protect and deliver the Website.
4. Support
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device details, diagnostic information, or sample files. Please do not send footage or personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
We use support information only to respond, troubleshoot, improve the App, prevent abuse, and maintain reasonable support records. We retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or legal obligations.
5. Your Rights and Children’s Privacy
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal data and to complain to a data protection authority. Because the App collects no personal data and the Website has no analytics or accounts, we generally hold little or no information that identifies you unless you contact support.
The App and Website are not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the date above will be updated.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@komocode.com.
